Heart Alchemy Institute was founded not as a business first, but as a response to the limits of conventional care, and to the profound potential of what lies beyond them.
Many of the people I work with appear successful from the outside. They lead organizations, manage large teams, and have built impressive careers. Yet at a certain point, outward success no longer answers the deeper questions arising within, questions about meaning, identity, purpose, and what the next chapter of life might hold.
I work with leaders, executives, and accomplished professionals navigating these pivotal moments. As a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, I support individuals through trauma recovery, personal transformation, and major life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and deeply integrative, weaving together somatic therapy, parts work, mindfulness, and applied neuroscience to help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom and step forward with greater alignment and agency.
A significant part of my practice is dedicated to supporting those navigating existential distress, grief, death, and dying. Having walked through profound grief myself, I hold a deep reverence for these experiences. I also specialize in helping clients integrate non-ordinary states of consciousness, whether those arise through psychedelic-assisted therapy, the physical extremes of endurance athletics, or near-death experiences.
Earlier in my career, I served in senior leadership as the Senior Manager of Therapy Services at Headspace, supporting a nationwide network of over 200 therapists. I developed and implemented a clinician wellbeing program that successfully reduced burnout symptoms by 33%. Today, I work privately with individuals, including leaders from Fortune 500 companies, who are navigating high levels of responsibility while seeking greater clarity and integration in their lives.
I am the founder of Heart Alchemy Institute, where I offer integrative psychotherapy, breathwork, and psychedelic-assisted therapy through individual intensives, small group retreats, and depth-oriented therapeutic work. I have also completed advanced training in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy through the Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI).
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: Transformation is not about fixing what is broken; it is about remembering and reconnecting with what has always been whole. My style is warm, collaborative, and attuned, inviting you to move beyond surface-level understanding into a more honest, joyful, and transformative relationship with yourself.

Amelia Eberline brings a somatic and embodied presence to the Heart Alchemy team. Before finding her way to this work, she lived a life shaped by motion and ambition. A year in Beijing, five years in New York City, and years spent working on political campaigns and for the City Council gave her an intimate understanding of the pace that corporate and political life can demand. She knows what it is to be good at moving fast, and what it costs.
After moving to California, something shifted. She began to choose presence over pace, and through her own healing journey discovered what mindfulness and breathwork could offer that no amount of productivity ever had. The breath, she found, is one of the most ancient and overlooked tools we carry. A direct pathway into the held experience that the mind has not yet found words for.
Today, Amelia guides individuals and small groups through breathwork practices rooted in somatic awareness and embodied presence, creating space for the nervous system to settle, for stored tension to release, and for a quieter, clearer version of the self to come forward. Outside of her practice, she finds restoration in swimming, long runs, and the uncomplicated company of animals and open air.
Amelia's work is offered both as standalone experiences and as an integral part of the preparation and integration journey alongside ketamine-assisted therapy.
Heart Alchemy Institute exists for the person who has done the work, who has read the books, tried the therapy, built the life, and still feels something essential is out of reach. Our work is for those who are ready to stop managing their experience and start transforming it.
